The physiology of self-awareness, self-compassion, care, kindness, and tone are critical components of overcoming self imposed obstacles. This podcast was timely and insightful and reminds me of the saying, “Do we talk to ourselves like we would to someone we love? from Kristen Neff. This helps me get to courage when shame and comparison spring up inside…especially when I start to compare what I used to be able to do compared to what I can physically do now.
