Facilitated by seasoned leadership facilitators, Dr. Megara Kastner, Ph.D & Jolene Lockwood, CDTLF

This 24-Hour Leadership Certificate Program is based on the Dare to Lead™ international bestselling book by Brené Brown. The highly experiential class provides a more seasoned leader the opportunity to hone their skills with providing a work environment where all people feel safe to speak their truth, work to their highest potential, and celebrate their unique contributions.

Dare to Lead™ is the ultimate playbook for creating brave leaders and courageous cultures. It’s learning and practicing what it takes to do brave work, have tough conversations, and show up with a fully invested heart. The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research defines courage as a collection of four skills:

  1. Rumbling with vulnerability
  2. Living into one’s values
  3. Braving trust
  4. Learning to rise

Participants receive:

  • Dare to Lead™ workbook
  • Access to exclusive Brené Brown videos
  • Instruction from a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator who’s facilitated over 25 successful DTL events
  • A Dare to Lead™ Certificate of Completion
  • Dare to Lead Trained badge for a LinkedIn account

This Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing the four courage-building skills through a 24-hour class extended over several weeks. This gives participants opportunities to practice the concepts and skills between sessions. Then bring their experiences back to class for more in-depth discussions.

Each class includes short lectures, workbook writing activities, and many small and large group exercises. There is plenty of debrief time to practice and talk about how to bring the concepts to life and practice in your work setting.

By the end of the series, you know how to move from an armored leadership position to a daring leadership perspective. And…how to encourage and support others doing the same.

Further information is available at https://daretolead.brenebrown.com/. The Dare to Lead™ training combines videos, in-person facilitation, and exercises to train courageous, daring leaders.
